These Terms of Service govern your use of algₐ, including practice, review, progress, coach, demo, and related features. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

algₐ is an educational product. It is designed to help you study more effectively, but it does not guarantee exam scores, admissions outcomes, or other results.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account was compromised, contact us right away.

2. Permitted Use

You agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully. You may not:

• copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the service or its content without permission;
• interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the product;
• upload harmful content or attempt to bypass rate limits and access controls;
• use the service for anything unlawful, abusive, or misleading.

3. Educational AI Features

Some features may generate explanations, coaching notes, or summaries using AI systems. These responses are generated from the data you provide and may be incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent with the full problem context.

You should use judgment before relying on any AI output. The service is not a substitute for a teacher, tutor, counselor, or other professional.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

If paid plans are enabled for your account, pricing, plan features, renewal terms, and any trial or cancellation terms will be presented at the time of purchase or in the in-product billing flow.

If a feature is marked as unavailable or not yet connected in the current build, that feature may be informational only until billing or the related service is activated.

5. User Content and Data

You retain rights to your own inputs and study content, subject to the rights you grant us to operate the service, store your progress, and generate the features you request.

We may preserve logs, study history, and account records as needed to provide the service, comply with law, enforce these terms, and resolve disputes.

The service, including its design, content, software, and branding, is owned by algₐ or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
